Too busy starring in "House?" |
So, Valve, where the hell is Half-Life 2: Episode 3?
I don’t want to go all stalker fanboy here, but it has been 1237 days since you released Episode 2.
In a recent interview with AusGamers, Valve’s Doug Lombardi said:
We haven’t ever flipped the bit and said “well let’s just make fancier versions of Half-life for the rest of our lives and collect all the money”. We’ve actually done the opposite, sometimes to our fan’s chagrin.Yeah. My chagrin.
Look, three and a half years have gone by. No one is going to accuse you of making a cash grab by rushing shoddy DLC to market. I’m starting to think you don’t understand the concept of “episodic content.” And you totally left the story hanging!
Lombardi also said:
You will ever see it, yes. We are not done with Gordon Freeman’s adventures. I have nothing other than that to tell you today, but hang in there with us.That’ll have to do. Now what can you do about getting Deadwood back on the air?
