Rage Gameplay Is Shaping Up Nicely

Via Kotaku, here's a new Rage gameplay trailer—nearly eight minutes of video!

Judging from this segment, the game seems to have the aesthetic of Fallout 3 and the gameplay of BioShock. There are worse games to crib from.

This game is starting to look pretty good to my weary eyes. It's been a pretty grim year for shooters, with one notable exception.

And id has been known to make a decent FPS from time-to-time. Actually, if Rage just lets me hold my flashlight and shoot at the same time, I think it might be game of the year!

I think I'm excited. Rage will be unleashed on September 13.
